To prevent insta-death upon re-entering combat, these are pretty much a requirement and they fall into 2 different classes. First there is the Cubey Terra chutes we all know and love. There is a freebie available on the TP platform, or you can get a more advanced one in the vendor in the lobby.

Another pretty nifty and approved way to enter is the Rapid Orbital Deployment Unit, also available in the lobby, which essentially keeps you from being seen as easilly as using a parachute as well as becoming ground-paste. When using the Rapid Orbital Deployment Unit, do not forget to turn off effects ("/13 effects off").

Do not make parachutes transparent, you can reduce your chance of being hit by moving around instead of falling straight down. And please make sure the parachute is vertical like it's supposed to, otherwise it just makes you look stupid.

Please refrain from using flight boosts, jetpacks or similar to prevent fall damage death, flying is only allowed by administrators not in combat.
