Groups are a fun feature of SecondLife overflowing with potential, unfortunately that potential extends to the ability to annoy the piss out of folks. As of recent we have topped well over 1200 group members, all of which who are online will get dragged into a group IM if you open it. This said, group chat should be left alone for the most part.

Reasons to use group chat:
~It was allready opened by an administrator to announce an event or game and you wish to let us know you're coming or not.
~You need to report something that could result in the actual loss of life and limb. Better yet, use 911 or the appropriate emergency phone number in your area as you'll probably piss people off instead of getting adequate medical care.

Reasons not to use group chat:
~Questions about the sim, combat system, approved weapons, clarification of rules or other general questions. If you have questions like these, IM them to Jag Nishi.
~Advertising, simply put, NO ADVERTISING IN THIS GROUP. It does not matter if it is combat related or not! Whether or not you opened chat, you are still not allowed to advertise and there will be NO exceptions.
~Stupid crap in general, do not open chat with a "Hello, anyone there?" or anything along these lines.

Reporting offenders:
To report people breaking the rules of group chat, please record the log in the form of a notecard, send it to Jag Nishi as well as an IM identifying the spammers. Within 24 hours they should be removed from group. Also, most of our admins have the roles to eject people from the group as well.
